Pottsgrove Manor for Colonial Days

We went to Pottsgrove Manor to learn about colonial times. The girls played games, watched cooking demos in the original kitchen, made candles, and watched a blacksmith work.

Zoe and Izabella writing with a feather pens.

The girls learned manors of the time from this woman, who was a bit uptight. Perfect job for her.

She also taught the kids a dance.

The girls learned about the tools they used and all the items they made from the animals they kept, pig hair for toothbrushes!

  1. i love looking at your pictures and seeing what your family is up to. Izzy & Zoe get to experience things that we didn't get to as kids (or adults for that matter!) growing up in the suburbs/cities.
